Comedian Ron White Comes to PPAC, 11/16

Comedian Ron White appears at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 7P. Tickets are $55 - $25 and go on sale Friday, April 13 at 10A at the PPAC Box Office, online at www.ppacri.org and by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787). Please note that all PPAC ticket prices include a $3 restoration charge and are subject to change without notice.

There are a limited number of VIP ticket packages available for this performance. The VIP package includes a post-show Q&A with White, an opportunity to take a picture with White, a one-month membership to the Ron White “Speakeasy” Fan Club, and an autographed VIP Access Pass. Ron “Tater Salad” White is most recognized as the cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking funnyman from the “Blue Collar Comedy” phenomenon. White has always been a storyteller; from the time he was a boy growing up in a small town in the middle of Texas oil country to selling windows for a living in Arlington to performing in sold-out theatres and arenas as a headlining comedian all across the country. For two decades, White lived the life of a struggling comedian. White got his big break on the highly acclaimed “Blue Collar Comedy Tour,” which he performed on from January 2000 through March 2003 with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy.

Since then, White has received two Grammy nominations. He has a Gold Record; three of the top rated one-hour specials in Comedy Central history, a New York Times best-selling book, and has sold more than ten million CDs and DVDs. White is also in the comedy Horrible Bosses.
