From the West End to Providence, WWII comedy ‘Operation Mincemeat’ is so much stranger than fiction
From: Boston Globe | Date: 9/30/2026
The show also leans into more serious themes of sacrifice and duty, the way society discards certain classes of people, and the creative contributions of women who don’t get their share of recognition (the focus of the song “Useful”), which the cast handles with aplomb. As nerve-wracking as the opening night of a national tour can be, everyone on stage seems to be having the time of their lives. The same goes for the audience.

Theater Review: “Clue” on Tour — Silly Stuff Done Well
From: The Arts Fuse | Date: 5/8/2024
There’s little genius in the touring Clue as well. But the script is chock full of deliciously groan-worthy one-liners and delightful overembellishments of classic murder mystery tropes. And the stage is filled with superbly performed slapstick.
