The Town & Gown Players unleash an unspeakable (yet catchy) horror with their upcoming production of EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, a campy stage adaption of the cult horror comedy.
Dancing zombies, singing furniture, overly friendly trees, and gallons of gushing blood are on full display as the Town & Gown Players' season opener EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL summons all the iconic moments of the film series and infuses them with memorable songs and added silliness.
Five college students go to an old abandoned cabin in the woods for a weekend of drinking and debauchery and demonic possession. What could possibly go wrong? Horror and hijinks ensue in the, EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, a Halloween treat from the people who brought you THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, VAMPIRE LESBIANS OF SODOM, and DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-A-LONG BLOG.
Town & Gown regular Adam Shirley portrays the handy hero Ash and leads an all-star cast of new and familiar faces (and some familiar faces that you might not recognize under their monster makeup), including Rebekah Williams as the cellar bound Cheryl, Bekah Lee as the head over heels Linda, and Mitch Clayton as the easily ignored Ed.
