NRACT Presents SPRING AWAKENING Image

The winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, told by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater through what Entertainment Weekly called, "the most gorgeous Broadway score this decade," Spring Awakening explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with a poignancy and passion that is illuminating and unforgettable. The landmark musical is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality and rock and roll that is exhilarating audiences across the nation like no other musical in years.

NRACT's Spring Awakening is cast with many of the Triangle's talented actors including Ford Nelson as Melchior, Natalia Soto as Wendla, Nathan Hamilton as Moritz, Lauren Knott as Ilse, and Faith Jones as Martha.

Spring Awakening is for mature audiences due to adult themes, adult language and brief nudity.

Spring Awakening opens June 1-17 with performances for three weekends. Performance times are 8:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday matinees are at 3:00 pm. Ticket prices are a great value at only $20 for adults and $17 for students/seniors/teachers/military.

For tickets please visit http://www.nract.org/shows#/spring-awakening/ or call the box office at 919-866-0228.
