Sleeping Beauty is one of the cornerstones of the world ballet repertoire and in musical terms is considered the most perfect of all P. I. Tchaikovsky’s ballet opuses. Perrault’s famous fairy tale of a girl who cuts herself on a thorn and falls asleep for one hundred years is not only intended for classical dance lovers.
