"When one of us says that she has a cellulite, she wants the other one say: I've got it, too. Every woman wants to identify herself with another woman. Every woman needs to belong somewhere."

Women's lives are full of paradoxes. Statistically they live longer, but biologically and socially is their time limited especially by motherhood. Relationships between women are on one hand much edgier, on the other hand, women are able to unite in a crisis with the greatest enemy.

None of these five different women does know her father. And every one tries to forget the father of her children as quickly as possible.

A daughter becomes a mother, a mother becomes a grandmother and from grandmother is a great-grandmother.

Questions that someone does not ask for the entire lifetime our heroines ask every day: Is father important for education? Is a family complete even without a father? Is there a life after life? Is my current partner also my last? Is a mortgage on a flat in a new building in the suburbs a real happiness? "
