The Valentine Wing was established in 1993 by João Gil, João Monge and Manuel Paulo. The group achieved a great success in the 90s, having played several times at festivals in and out of Portugal, and emerging as a unique project on the national scene, thanks to the voice of Nuno Guerreiro. In 1994 the group released their first album, self-titled, which included the Crazy theme Lisbon. In 1998 Solta-Se O Beijo album, which reached platinum status is displayed. Two years later it launched Crystal, which reached gold record award. The Valentine Wing ends up separating in 2008. However, in early 2012, there is the desire to revive the project. In September 2012 are marked its 20th anniversary with a concert at B.leza which was attended by Nuno Guerreiro, Alexandre Frazão, Mario Delgado, Zé Nabo and Ruben Santos, and also special guests like John Gil and José Moz Carrapa . In 2013 the ratio of CD is being launched with the participation of Antonio Zambujo and Jorge Palma. In 2014 comes the original album Happiness.
