ERA UMA VEZ Will Take Audiences Into the Woods at Salesianos do Estoril - Mata "Era Uma Vez" will be taking audiences into the world of the classic Grim fairytales, but with a twist. The musical will play at Salesianos do Estoril May 28 to June 1.

Based off of Stephen Sondheim's "Into the Woods," "Era Uma Vez" tells the story of how the fairytale characters like Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel and more discover the consequences that come from acting on their desires.

The show is produced by Academia do Palco, a performing arts high school in the Artisport project of the Salesians of Estoril. The students from the advanced group of Musical Theatre and the directors created "Era Uma Vez" as a collaborative effort from Stephen Sondheim's work.

Matilde Trocado serves as the Art Director and António Andrade Santos is the Music Director.
