The stage premiere of A Pirate's Tale debuts at Carnegie Stage from July 22 - 31st. Conceived and written by Pittsburgh fight director and performer Shaun Rolly with music and lyrics by Pittsburgh native Paul Shapera, A Pirate’s Tale allows you to enter the world of rogues, betrayal and action with rich music, lively dance and a story to enthrall all ages. Set in 1540, follow the pirate crew of the Anne-Marie fresh from their victory over the Spanish naval ship, The Raven. War-scarred pirate captain Tristan LaMarque, his lethal pirate queen Cassandra McKaye and naval-mariner-turned 1st-mate Sebastian Palk soon find themselves locked in battle on their own decks. Betrayal, deceit and greed lead to a mutiny that culminates into the greatest fight of their lives - their survival. Having performed for three successful summers on the Gateway Clipper's Empress, A Pirate's Tale now comes to land in its full entirety. It is an event not to be missed. Reserve your tickets today! Ahoy!
