Pittsburgh Public Theater's 40th anniversary Season of Legends continues with the Pittsburgh premiere of How I Learned What I Learned, the final play by August Wilson. How I Learned was co-conceived and will be directed by Todd Kreidler, a Duquesne University graduate, former Pittsburgh Public Theater staff member, and author of the recent Broadway musical, Holler If Ya Hear Me. How I Learned What I Learned runs March 5 - April 5, 2015 at the O'Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater's home in the heart of Downtown's Cultural District. The staged musical of this worldwide smash-hit film will play the Benedum Center, 237 7th Street, downtown Pittsburgh. Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will run April 7-12, 2015. This production is part of the PNC Broadway Across America-Pittsburgh series, presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Symphony and Broadway Across America.

He is, after all, credited with famously saying, 'There's a fine line between gazing long into an abyss and standing at the edge of an abyss looking like an idiot.' The REP, Point Park University's professional theatre company, rings in 2015 with the world premiere of Prussia: 1866, Pittsburgh playwright Gab Cody's hilarious examination of Nietzsche and his proto-feminist friends.
