By:

DOG SEES GOD: CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE BLOCKHEAD and MUD will be presented by University of Pittsburgh Repertory Theatre from April 14-17 and 17-18 at 2 PM at the Henry Heymann Theater (located on the lower level of the Stephen Foster.

Dog Sees God by Bert V. Royal tells the story of C.B. as he deals with the death of his beloved beagle. Drug use, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion and sexual identity collide and careen toward an ending that's both haunting and hopeful.

MUD by Maria Irene Fornes is a character study of Mae as she demonstrates one woman's efforts to free herself from the poverty she was born into. Her character journey is reflected in the disillusionment of both Lloyd and Henry to their plight as they slowly bring her down to their level of desperation.

Tickets will cost $7-$10 dollars. To purchase, call 412-624-PLAY Monday-Friday from noon- 5 PM or visit online at www.play.pitt.edu/shows/tickets.html.
