Pittsburgh CLO Now Accepting Summer Internship Applications
Applications are now being accepted for the 2016 Pittsburgh CLO Summer Internship Program. The Summer Internship Program runs approximately 10-13 weeks beginning in May through mid-August, depending upon the internship being applied for, and affords students 18 years of age and older the opportunity to work one-on-one with musical theater industry professionals.
Internships are available in the following areas: Cabaret Theater, Choreography, Company Management, Costume Coordination, Development, Education - Summer Camp Assistant, Education - Summer Camp Production, Finance, Graphic/Web Design, Hair Design, Lighting Design, Musical Direction, Production Management, Property Coordination, Public Relations, Sound Design, Stage Direction, Stage Management and Video Production.
By working behind-the-scenes on Pittsburgh CLO's 2016 Summer Season and at the CLO Academy, interns will receive professional training and invaluable hands-on experience in both musical theater and non-profit administration. Pittsburgh CLO's 2016 Summer Season will feature MATILDA, CHICAGO, DAMN YANKEES, SHREK THE MUSICAL, Elton John & Tim Rice's AIDA, and Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC.
Established in 1973 and funded through the generosity of the CLO Guild, the CLO Internship program provides students with a stipend per contracted week to cover expenses and the opportunity for college credit, but more importantly, the chance to pursue their artistic interests professionally.
