He originated the role of the Balladeer in Stephen Sondheim's Assassins at Playwrights Horizons and appeared in Lady in the Dark at City Center's Encores! He has toured nationally as Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 2000 and again in 2006. His films include Longtime Companion, I'll Do Anything, I Won't Dance and Burning Love. He starred in the TV miniseriesDress Grey (Emmy nomination) and Napoleon & Josephine, as well as TV movies-of-the-week, Oklahoma City, Something in Common, Christmas Eve, How the West Was Fun, and Follow Your Heart.
