UNFORGETTABLE Cabaret Featuring T.A. Burrows Held At Theater Works

Theater Works is set to bring back their popular cabaret series. This weekend only October 14th - 16th, Theater Works proudly presents UNFORGETTABLE starring T.A. Burrows and Linda Waymire. Our cabarets' have it all - Intimate Venue, "Unforgettable" Music, Close Friends, Savory Food and Fine Wine! Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee, Johnny Mathis, Ray Charles, Patsy Cline, Neil Diamond, Connie Francis, Sammy Davis, Jr. - their names are as familiar as our own, and their songs rekindle the memories of a lifetime. Now, the distinctive styles and memorable music of these incomparable artists are brought together in one truly amazing "concert" entitled, Unforgettable. Performing this weekend only (October 14 - 16), with one show already sold out, tickets are only $25/person and are on sale today.

This incredible show captures the quintessence of these legendary singers. Songs include: Unforgettable, Mr. Bojangles, Fever, Paper Moon, That's Amore, Everybody Loves Somebody and more. And the hits just keep on coming along with an informative and lighthearted repartee provided by the talented Laurie Ehlers, who stars as our loveable host for this enchanting trip down memory lane. Wine and cheese will be available during this special cabaret performance.

T.A. Burrows
T.A. Burrows is a New York City native and a multi-talented entertainer who has performed over 1,900 shows. He has appeared in Las Vegas, and he has worked with such stars as The Temptations, Patti LaBelle, Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, The Pointer Sisters, Lee Greenwood, and the late Bob Hope. He is a master impressionist as well as an accomplished vocalist, comedian, and actor.

Laurie Ehlers is a Connecticut-born versatile comedy actress. She recently appeared as the female lead in the comedy-mystery Alfred Hitchcock Taught Me Everything I Know and starred as Lizzy Curry in The Rainmaker. She has also starred as the title character, Miss Daizy, in the hilarious musical-comedy, Driving Miss Daizy...Crazy! which she co-wrote with T.A. Burrows.

Tickets are now on sale both online at www.theaterworks.org and at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts. The Box Office is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily and may be reached at 623-815-7930. UNFORGETTABLE performs the weekend of October 14th. Shows are on Friday 7:30 p.m., Saturday 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. Tickets for these performances are only $25.00 / person and includes savory food (prices include service and processing fees). Fine wine will also be available. Theater Works is located in the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts (the theater with the copper roof) at 8355 W Peoria Avenue, Peoria.
