The Prescott Fine Arts Gallery Hosts Book Readings by Prescott Area Authors Free and Open to the Public

The Prescott Fine Arts Gallery in conjunction with the PAAHC Thumb Butte Festival, will present book reading by local authors. The gallery is located at the corner of Willis and Marina with the entrance on Willis.

Sunday, October 4

12:30 - Jeri Castronova, "Code of the King: A Deadly Search for Ancient Wisdom," is a new supernatural thriller. A mysterious hieroglyphic Code is found in Jerusalem. In three whirlwind days, an Egyptologist must translate the Code, escape the looters, rescue her kidnapped fiancé., and find the legendary statues before the window of time closes forever.

2:30 - Don Cunningham, "Divorce and Remarriage Made Beautiful In His Time" is based on his personal and professional experience with the issues of divorce. It moves from the depths of despair to enlightenment, healing and hope.

Sunday, October 11

12:30 - Dale O'Dell's sixth book, "Photographic Memories," reads like a blend of George Carlin's Brain Droppings and Susan Sontag's On Photography. Photographic Memories is a collection of articles, essays and commentary on the subject of photography from the perspective of a photographic and digital artist. The stories are funny, irreverent, poignant.

2:30 - Elizabeth Kaites, "A Common Thread: Stories of Our Oneness," is a collection of personal essays. Her stories will warm your heart and explain how the extraordinary manifests into daily life. Look forward to her recounting of her meeting with Mother Theresa and Kaites' experience as a default sex therapist.

Sunday, October 18

12:30 - Harold Minuskin, "My Children, My Heroes, Memoirs of a Holocaust Mother." Written by Sonia Minuskin, translated by her son, Harold. Learn of a powerful story of survival during this dark time in history. Mrs. Minuskin not only saved her own life, but the lives of her two very young sons by fleeing to the forests of Belorussia, joining the Jewish Partisans.

2:30 - Marilyn Markham, "Dearest Waiki: Love Letters To An Andean Mystic" is a collection of letters, stories and an intimate account of one woman's spiritual journey. Markham's message is sometimes delightful, sometimes heartbreaking, and always uplifting. Underscored by personal visions and dreams, we become aware of the spiritual lessons that surround us.
