Phoenix Children's Chorus to Perform in Carnegie Hall, Open Auditions & Spring Concerts Announced

Phoenix Children's Chorus is proud to announce that they have been invited to perform in the world famous Carnegie Hall in June 2017. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is coming up next month for many singers in the Phoenix area - - singing on the stage of Carnegie Hall. Choristers from the organization's touring choirs will head to New York City next month to be part of this incredible opportunity. Along with the 107 voices of Phoenix Children's Chorus will be 26 voices from the Carolyn Eynon Singers, also based in the Phoenix area. The groups will sing together and individually on the stage of Carnegie Hall on Friday June 16, 2017 as part of the Choirs of America Concert.

PCC also announces that they are seeking new members and holding Open Auditions. Boys and girls currently in 1st 11th grade that love to sing are encouraged to attend a free audition. This year's auditions will be held at Phoenix Center for the Arts, 1202 N. 3rd Streetin Phoenixon Wednesday, May 10th, Saturday, May 20th, and Tuesday, May 30th. For those interested in their East Valley location, auditions will be held at the ASU Polytechnic Campus, Applied Arts Pavilion at 7291 E. Sonoran Arroyo Mall on Monday, May 22nd .

Finally, the choruses announce their Spring Concert Series, "The World is Ours" with concerts held on May 12th at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church, and on May 13th at Mesa Art Center's Ikeda Theater.
