Peggy Fiandaca and Curt Dunham of Fountain Hills-based Partners for Strategic Action, and the Valley's largest law firm, Snell & Wilmer, will receive Valley Youth Theatre's VYTALITY Awards at the 14th annual Most VYTal Event of the Season, Aug. 18 at the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe.

The event helps fund important education and outreach programs and Valley Youth Theatre's six mainstage productions for the 2012-13 season. VYTALITY stands for Valley Youth Theatre Applauds Leadership Impacting Today's Youth.

"We cannot do what we do, both on the stage and in our ability to reach young people in the community without the support of people like Peggy and Curt and collaborations with businesses like Snell & Wilmer," said Valley Youth Theatre Development Director Debbie Paine.

Fiandaca has been a Valley Youth Theatre board member since 1999 and both she and Dunham as well as Snell & Wilmer have been longtime supporters of the youth-focused theatre company.

Previous VYTALITY Award winners include Lorna and Gary Pederson; Corporate KPMG, LLP (2011): Billie Jo and Judd Herberger; Wells Fargo (2010), Nancy and Larry Landry; Majerle's Sports Grill and the Arizona Diamondbacks (2009); and Carol and Bob Machiz; American Express (2008).

The invitation-only event includes a special performance of Legally Blonde The Musical, a foodie's tasting paradise and the chance to bid on trips from Maui to Manhattan.

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with hosted cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres from Valley restaurant and caterers and silent and live auctions. At 7:30, the 2011 VYTALITY Awards will be presented. A special performance of Legally Blonde The Musical will follow.

After the performance, dessert, champagne and coffee will be available. A partial list of participating restaurants includes Flemings, America's Taco Shop, Circle H BBQ, Rose and Crown, Hob Nobbs, Café Boa, Sweet Tomatoes and Sweet Confections.

Individual seat tickets are $250 and premium seats are $500. A $1,500 package includes two premium seats and a full-page ad in the program. Additional sponsorships begin at $2,500.
