Mac Perlich, Steven Tepper Elected to Arizona Theatre Company Board of Trustees

By:

The Arizona Theatre Company Board of Trustees has elected Mac Perlich, President and Publisher of On Media, and Steven Tepper, Dean of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University, to three year terms.

Perlich is a former ATC Board member. ON Media publishes programs for all the major performing arts groups in the Valley of the Sun and in Tucson. The company publishes nearly two million programs annually at no charge to the arts groups or the patrons. Perlich and her husband, Russ, launched Act One, a 501C3 which brings students from Title One schools to live performing arts experiences, to date having served more than 75,000 students in Phoenix and Tucson. Act One also manages the Culture Pass program in Maricopa County and soon in Tucson.

Perlich graduated with Honors and Highest Distinction from the University of Arizona College of Nursing and received her Masters in Nursing from the U of A, clinically focused on wellness and health promotion.

Tepper is a leading writer and speaker on U.S. cultural policy whose works have fostered national discussions around cultural engagement, everyday creativity and the transformative possibilities of a 21st century creative campus.

Prior to ASU, he was a chief architect of the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise and Public Policy, a national think tank for cultural policy and creativity at Vanderbilt University. Tepper holds a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a master's in public policy from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Ph.D. in sociology from Princeton University.
