Local Improv Theater Announces 5th Anniversary Celebration

On January 30, 2014, Unscrewed Theater opened at 3244 E Speedway Blvd, becoming Tucson's first theater devoted exclusively to the art of improvisation and improv comedy. In 2018, Unscrewed Theater completed a successful relocation & build-out at its new forever home right down the street at 4500 E. Speedway Blvd. #39.

Fast forward to February 1st & 2nd 2019 - Unscrewed Theater's 5th Anniversary Weekend Celebration! In addition to super-sized improv shows, special guests and raffles, they'll offer one-of-a-kind workshops facilitated by improv super stars. In addition, Unscrewed Theater will also partner with the Comedy Alliance of Tucson as part of their CATcomedy520 LOL Crawl.

Special guests include nationally known improv performers and instructors Nick Armstrong & Karen Graci, members of King Ten, a Los Angeles improv team. Celebrating their 16th year as a team, these veteran improvisers have written and appeared in television series, commercials and feature films, as well as taught classes, workshops and coached all over the world.

Unscrewed Theater is located at 4500 E Speedway Blvd #39 - just west of Speedway & Swan. We're directly between Mama's Pizza & Sushi Ten, and just two doors down from dedicated gluten-free bakery.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Unscrewed Theater is community-based, 100% volunteer-run, and offers live performances, classes and produces all forms of live improvisational theater in Tucson, AZ.
