LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS Opens Tonight at Phoenix Theatre

Seymour, a nerdy floral clerk, discovers a new peculiar plant he names "Audrey II" after his co-worker crush. This foul-mouthed, R+B-singing plant might just be Seymour's ticket to fame, fortune, and the girl of his dreams! However, Seymour discovers Audrey II's intent towards global domination. Can Seymour save the world and get the girl? Find out in the delightfully devious, cult classic, sci-fi musical smash, Little Shop of Horrors!

Little Shop of Horrors is directed by Associate Artistic Director Robert Kolby Harper. Starring Brian Golub as the loveable nerd Seymour and Kate E. Cook as his crush Audrey, both Phoenix-raised actors will be sharing a homecoming through Little Shop of Horrors after performing across the US. Local favorite Toby Yatso, last seen in Phoenix Theatre's It's Only A Play, takes the spotlight as the demented Dentist. Alyssa Chiarello, last seen in Million Dollar Quartet and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, joins Brittney Mack, who made waves in Beehive, and newcomer Anne-Li-
sa Koyabe as the Greek girls group chorus.

Inspired by the film classic, Little Shop of Horrors will leave you thrilled,
chilled, and laughing all the way home!

This production contains mature themes that may not be suitable for all audiences. Little Shop of Horrors opens on May 16 and runs through June 10, 2018. Tickets start at just $29 and are available to purchase by phone at 602-254-2151 or by visiting phoenixtheatre.com
