Itzhak Perlman, the undeniable reigning virtuoso of the violin, brings his award-winning performance to Mesa Arts Center Wednesday, January 20, at 7:30 p.m. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of his American debut, Perlman is well-known for his many orchestral and recital appearances throughout the world. Beloved for his charm and humanity, as well as his talent, Perlman is treasured by audiences around the world who respond not only to his remarkable artistry, but also the way he communicates his irrepressible joy of making music. In January 2009, Mr. Perlman was honored to take part in the Inauguration of President Barack Obama, premiering a piece written for the occasion by John Williams.

Perlman is the winner of four Emmys and 15 Grammys, and performs as conductor with leading orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Philharmonic, the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Israel Philharmonic, the Chicago Symphony, and the New York Philharmonic. Perlman's breathtaking talent is sure to amaze audiences in this special one-night-only performance.
