Phoenix Theatre presents Curtains, 100 E. McDowell, Phoenix.  Runs September 16 - October 11, 2009. Directed by Michael Barnard, Book by Rupert Holmes

Music and Lyrics by John Kander, music; Fred Ebb, lyrics (creators of Cabaret and Chicago)

The musical comedy whodunit...Curtains unfolds backstage, where a new musical could be a Broadway smash, were it not for the presence of its talent-free leading lady. When the hapless star is murdered on opening night, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi arrives on the scene to conduct an investigation. But the lure of the theatre proves irresistible for the stage-struck detective who finds himself just as drawn toward making the show a hit as he is in solving the murder.
