A cop who plays by the rules, dreaming of making detective, and his suspects deliver a full 90 minutes of a madcap fun evening of theatre -- and this is all pulled off by two actors.

Murder For Two begins on the evening of the murder of Great American Novelist Arthur Whitney -- on the dearly departed author's birthday, no less. With the nearest detective an hour away, Ian Lowe's Marcus seizes this opportunity to prove himself worthy of achieving his dream.

As Lowe investigates all of Joe Kinosian's Suspects, Kinosian moves between each character with whom Lowe interacts - young and old, male and female. Kinosian also does so with such a flawless elegance and very little props, that one can easily forget that he is just a single actor gracing the stage.

Kinosian and his co-star, Lowe, are brilliant performers and pianists who share irrefutable chemistry together. Both exemplify a wide range of talent as they single handedly carry the show with such high energy. Those who are able to witness such a fun evening of theatre should treat themselves to this opportunity.

Kinosian (The Suspects, Book & Music) and Lowe (Marcus), from the original off-Broadway production, make their Arizona Theatre debut with Murder For Two, which continues the Arizona Theatre Company's 2014/2005 season, sponsored by I. Michael and Beth Kasser.

Murder For Two runs until December 20th in Tucson, with a total running time of 90 minutes. Tickets start at $37 and can be purchased at www.arizonatheatre.org, or by calling the Temple of Music and Art's box office at (520) 622-2823. Discounts are available for active military members and seniors. Student tickets are also available for $10 at all performances.
