400 Kids Of Phoenix Children's Chorus Perform For Holidays

The clear pure sound of the Phoenix Children's Chorus will charm audiences as the acclaimed group performs its 35th Anniversary holiday concert, Making Spirits Bright, to kick off the holiday season.
Performances will be held Saturday December 1, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts and Sunday December 2,2018 at 4:00 pm at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church, 6300 E. Bell Road in Scottsdale.
Tickets are $10/$17.50 and $20 and may be purchased by calling 602-534-3788 or www.pcchorus.org.
This special concert includes an inspiring array of carols and songs celebrating the holiday season. The children will be singing holiday pieces to warm your spirit, ranging from the beautiful Let's Go to Bethlehemu,The Winter Wind and Light a Candle, to the whimsical and charming Mele Kalikimaka, Sparklejollytwinklejingley andShowbiz Snowman. A brass ensemble will accompany the children on several pieces including the opening song Joy to the World and the finale Feliz Navidad. German Lullaby, an annual tradition will be performed by all 400 singers accompanied by bells and harp.
In 35 years of sharing their joy of music, the Phoenix Children's Chorus has performed for audiences throughout the U.S. and internationally from Austria to Australia. The program will be performed by the PCC's seven individual choirs as well as several pieces performed by the entire 400 member roster.
Prior to the December 1stconcert, the Phoenix Children's Chorus will be hosting a silent auction from 4 - 7 pm to raise funds in support of the group's musical education programs, scholarships and touring program.
Auditions The Phoenix Children's Chorus will be holding auditions for boys and girls from 2nd to 12th grade in December. Children with a love of singing are invited to audition to be part of this acclaimed choir.
