MISS SAIGON SCHOOL EDITION Premieres in Cebu Today!

Cebu, Philippines--The Blessed Trinity Achievers Academy presents the Broadway Youth Cebu Summer Musical Theatre Workshop production of MISS SAIGON SCHOOL EDITION from Friday, July 20, to Sunday, July 22, (with no repeat performances) at the Rudolf Rahmann Cultural Center, University of San Carlos South Campus. This fully-licensed production will be performed entirely by students, aged 14-18, who attended the theater summer workshops held last April and May.

First time to be performed in the Philippines, the MISS SAIGON SCHOOL EDITION is the author-approved family-friendly and age-appropriate adaptation of the hit London's West End and Broadway musical.

The production boasts an international creative and production team: Hong Kong-based director Allan Nazareno and Cebu-based director Rudy Aviles are on top of the production; Yvette Yntig, producer; Alfie Mosqueda, choreographer; Nino Banares, musical director; Rhodamie Chan, production manager; Everild Catugal, assistant director; Leah Delos Santos (Kim in the Stuttgart, Germany production), artistic consultant; Hong Kong-based scenic designer Faust Peneyra, set designer; Jonjon Villareal, lighting designer; New York City-based designers Shirlee Idzakovich and Vanessa Law, costume designer and makeup designer, respectively; Jason Dampor, sound designer, and Cebu-based music teacher Norman Babia, orchestra conductor.
