Manila, Philippines--In its 50th year, theater organization Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) opens its doors to friends and industry partners to a week-long festival, which aims to highlight the role of the arts in development, especially when pushing forward various advocacies such as children's rights, women, gender, health and sexuality, youth and the millennials, environment and disaster risk reduction, and human rights.

The week-long event titled "PETA: Festival of Windows" will be held at the PETA Theater Center (5 Sunnyside Dr., New Manila, Quezon City) from Tuesday, October 24, through Sunday, October 29. The festival will feature various workshops (songwriting, shadow puppetry, etc.), and lectures and discussions (building creative communities, success stories and challenges of practitioners, etc.).

PETA will also showcase some of its best advocacy plays as well as performances from its industry partners from across the Philippines, Cambodia, and Thailand.

Festival passes are available at P4,500 each (P3,500 for students), which entitles the holder access to the opening and closing reception, lecture and discussions, main stage performances, and one workshop or two huddles a day.

Day passes are also available at P1,000 per day (P800 for students).
