Walking FIsh Theatre Announces High Drama Sketch Comedy 4/23, 4/24
Walking Fish Theatre is proud to once again present the sketch comedy troupe, HIGH DRAMMA. Every month, HIGH DRAMMA brings its irreverent, envelope-pushing scripted comedy sketches to the stage at Walking Fish Theatre. Beverages are available at all shows. The upcoming shows are all at 9pm, on April 23 & 24.
Our most reliable sources have informed us that a group of humor insurgents, code named "High Dramma", have recently conspired to put together a performance of comedic sketches under the title of "Operation Eagle Claw" Current intelligence tells us that this covert operation will occur on Friday, April 23rd and Saturday, April 24th, at 9:00 at Walking Fish Theatre, 2509 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia. PA 19125.
We also understand that "Tickets" will be available "at the door" for "$10.00". It is unclear as to what the true nature of these encrypted figures, but we have our most senior Native American codebreakers hard at work deciphering them. They are also working on solving that intractable "Corn vs. Maize" problem as well.
Remember, loose lips (of whatever variety) may sink ships, but you can never sink High Dramma.
HIGH DRAMMA is Zac Ross, Adam Crego, D.C. Fisher, Johnny Smith (Walking Fish Theatre's Fresh Fish 2.0, Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre's Macbeth ), Jen Jaynes (Strawflower Productions' The Do's and Don'ts of Time Travel) and Jackie Wolfson, who couple their training in the fine arts with caustic wit to take the boo out of taboos. They've been playing to sold-out houses throughout the season and can make you squirm, groan and guffaw, in no particular order.
