Join Villanova Theatre for their Graduate Open House, Sunday November 24, 2013 from 11AM-4PM. Villanova Theatre is one of the most recognized M.A programs in the United States.
The Villanova University Theatre Department is now accepting applications for graduate assistantships and scholarships for the Master's in Theatre program, beginning Fall 2013. Villanova's program is the only theatre M.A. in the United States that places equal emphasis on scholarly and creative work. Students undergo a rigorous course of study that is a combination of scholarly, artistic, and practical approaches to theatre. The two-year, comprehensive M.A. provides crucial tools for the developing theatre practitioner, educator, or scholar. www.theatre.villanova.edu
The Theatre Department offers competitive graduate assistantships (full tuition remission and a stipend) in Set Construction, Costume Construction, Properties Construction, and Public Relations. Merit-based Scholarships are available in Acting and Research. In order to be considered for a graduate assistantship or scholarship, applications must be submitted by Feb. 1, 2014. Applications should include: 1) a completed application for admission to the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (including three letters of recommendation, a resume of relevant experience, undergraduate transcripts & GRE scores. Acting scholar applicants should include a headshot.) and 2) a Theatre Department Scholarship & Assistantship Application. Interviews/Auditions will be held on February 21 2014. Questions?
