Underbite Theatre Company and Plays & Players Presents ALL THE DEAD BIDDLES

Underbite Theatre Company presents the world premiere of a new dark comedy "All the Dead Biddles" written by Shelli Pentimall Bookler and directed by Carly Bodnar.
Karl and Wendy are mourning the loss of their son Alex, who passed when he was just an infant. Karl seeks the help of Dr. Francis, a psychologist who prescribes several unconventional methods for coping with the loss, from Bonsai therapy to speaking to representative love objects. Wendy, enabled by their live-in nanny, a mysterious Latina girl, indulges in a delusion that begins to push Karl to the edge, and herself further away from accepting the loss. A dark comedy in the realm of Sam Shepard and Martin McDonagh, All the Dead Biddles explores how far over the edge that loss can push us.
All the Dead Biddles had a staged reading through Philadelphia Dramatist Center's New Play Reading in Restaurant seriesin the spring of 2017 and was workshopped through their Playwrights Happy Hour. All the Dead Biddles is being performed January 11th through the 21st, 2018, at Plays and Players' Skinner Studio, 1714 Delancey Street, Philadelphia. Tickets are $20 and available through Plays and Player's website at playsandplayers.org
