Totem Pole Playhouse, which just celebrated its 61st summer season, has announced their first ever Oktoberfest party. The afternoon bash will feature a biergarten with traditional festival beers, authentic German food by Schmankerl Stube of Hagerstown, and Teutontic tunes from local musician David Wenerd the whole day long.

"I'm really very excited about this," said Artistic Director Ray Ficca. "We've been looking for ways to extend our entertainment offerings, and this is a perfect fit." The Playhouse plans to roll out the barrel today from 1-5 pm.

Tickets are $60, which includes food and drink. All proceeds from the celebration go to support Totem Pole Playhouse and live professional theatre in Caeldonia. For tickets visit totempoleplayhouse.org, Totem Pole's Facebook page or call The Playhouse at 717-352-2164.
