The Barnstormers Theater in Ridley Park, PA opens January 25th with the popular hysterical musical parody Forbidden Broadway: Greatest Hits. In this long-running Off-Broadway hit musical revue, Broadway's greatest musical legends meet Broadway's greatest satirist in this hilarious, loving, and endlessly entertaining tribute to some of the theatre's greatest stars and songwriters.

It's never been more fun poking fun at your favorite musicals and stars! The award-winning New York sensation featuring a talented cast of comic chameleons who perform hilarious parodies of Broadway's biggest hits at a dizzying pace, is coming to The Barnstormers. From to Phantom to Wicked, this fall-down funny, satirical roast of over 30 Broadway hits has outrageous costumes, silly spoofs of songs you know by heart and madcap impressions. Whether you are a seasoned theatre-goer or new to it all, the Tony Award winning Forbidden Broadway is your one-stop ticket to non-stop laughs. "Side-splittingly funny," says John Heilpern in the New York Observer. "No show has given me more pleasure over the years. It's my favorite show on earth." Forbidden Broadway: Greatest Hits received a Tony Award, Obie Award, Outer Critics Circle Award and the 2005 Drama Desk Award for Best Off Broadway Musical.

The Barnstormers production features local and Barnstormers favorites Dawn Sheppard, Christine Stief, Ted Kogut, Patick O'Neill and newcomers Caleb Wimble, AJ LoPorto and Andrea Kalan. Directed by Brian Miller, the show features musical direction by A.J. LoPorto and choreography by Lori Walsh.

Forbidden Broadway: Greatest Hits opens Friday January 25th and performances run weekends through February 9rd at 8pm with Sunday matinees on January 27th and February 3rd at 2pm. Tickets are $15 adults and $13 for Seniors and Youth 17 and under. The show is cabaret style and audience members may BYOB.
