Society Hill Playhouse to Present HOLIDAYS ON ICE, 12/12-21
Society Hill Playhouse presents a Philadelphia Premiere of humorous essays about our take on Christmas--theatre for the holidays! HOLIDAYS ON ICE from the twisted and brilliant mind of one of America's leading storytellers, David Sedaris. Dates for HOLIDAYS ON ICE run December 12-21, 2014 (specific show dates and times listed below). Ticket prices are $20.00 and include one drink (wine, beer or soda) and can be purchased through the Society Hill Playhouse website: www.societyhillplayhouse.org or at the door of the theatre on the day of the show. Society Hill Playhouse is located at 507 S Eighth Street, Philadelphia PA 19147.
David Sedaris is an American humorist, comedian, author, and radio contributor. He was publicly recognized in 1992 when National Public Radio broadcast his essay "SantaLand Diaries."
Tickets are $20 (includes one drink: wine, beer or soda, additional drinks available for purchase)

Director Stan Heleva is the Technical Director and Facilities Manager at Society Hill Playhouse. He has also been the producing artistic director of B. Someday Productions. Previous directing credits for B. Someday include 3 WISHES, SUBURBAN MOTEL, MISTAKEN CHARITY, THE GOOD PUPPET OF SZECHWAN, ADVENTURES IN THE SKIN TRADE and more.
Actors include Michelle Pauls, fresh off her role as "Suzy" in TIL DIVORCE DO US PART at Society Hill Playhouse. Recent acting credits include LIVING IN EXILE: A RETELLING OF THE ILIAD, THE TOUGHEST BOY IN PHILADELPHIA, MOBY DICK - REHEARSED, BURIED CHILD, FOOL FOR LOVE, principal roles in the feature films RELASUME, CROOKED & NARROW, CAFÉ ARTIST, BOB & ME and in the soon-to-be released horror film DEADLY GAMBLE. Peter Zielinski most recently seen in NEXT FALL with Quince Productions, A DOLLS HOUSE at the Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion and CRIMINAL GENIUS at Walking Fish Theatre.
