Photo Workshop with Frank Smith Set for State Theatre November 16
This is a rare opportunity to photograph the many intricacies of the beautiful historic State Theatre. Participants will be afforded uninterrupted access to the many unique and ornate components of this historic site including rarely seen artifacts and "Behind the Curtain" architecture.
The day's schedule will begin at 9:00 AM in the Easton Hospital Gallery at the State Theatre with a presentation by Frank T. Smith, seasoned and local photographer. (Enter at 5th & Northampton Streets) Frank will provide instruction and guided recommendations together with a glimpse of photographic prospects and expectations. At approximately 10:00 the shoot will begin in the theatre.
Following the shoot, all participants will be offered the option to exhibit a photograph at the State Theatre in 2014. Each participant can submit up to three images that will be juried and selected by Frank & a team from the State Theatre (cost of printing and mounting will be the responsibility of the attendees).
