People's Light & Theatre in Pennsylvania will present Newbery Award-winning author Lois Lowry's GOSSAMER April 29 - May 23.

The story is about Dream-givers, the mystical creatures who collect memories from meaningful belongings and weave them together to create dreams. In this story that tiptoes between reality and imagination, two Dream-givers comfort a lonely old woman and her troubled young foster son. When the boy is haunted by nightmares his Dream-giver, with her gossamer touch, must find the courage to protect him.

The production will be directed by David Bradley with set design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Roemarie E. McKelvey, sound design by Christopher Colucci, and lighting design by Joshua Schulman. The cast will include Ceal Phelan as Fastidious, Maggie Fitzgerald as the Littlest One, Stephen Novelli as the Most Ancient, and more.

The show is best appreciated by audience members age 9 and up.
