B. Someday Productions is proud to announce the close of its third full season of live performance at Walking Fish Theatre. Coming up for next season is a new roster of plays and performances for all different ages and likes at Walking Fish Theatre.

Philadelphia is a leader in new play development, and productions of world premieres of new work. At Walking Fish Theatre, we continue B. Someday Productions' commitment to classic and mythic themes, while creating new work that resonates with the community. In December 2010 B. Someday will produce A Fractured Christmas Carol. Two professional actors and two young actors cavort in a madcap, slapdash romp around one of our favorite holiday stories, with lots of local and cultural references, improvisational fun, audience interaction and fast-paced action! Directed by managing artistic director Michelle Pauls with professional actor Johnny Smith and local young actor/writer Emma O'Neill-Dietel.

In May, 2011, a new play by Stan Heleva based on the writings of Mary Wilkins Freeman. Mistaken Charity tells the tale of two elderly impoverished and handicapped women who are forced from the family farm by well-meaning neighbors. Ensconced at a "Home for Elderly Ladies", they are miserable and escape to attempt a journey back home. An absurd comedy. Directed by producing artistic director Stan Heleva and starring Michelle Pauls as one of the elderly ladies.

And, of course, we'll continue to have the co-productions you've come to enjoy, such as High Dramma Skethc Comedy, Revival Burlesque, New Play Reading Series and Humpday Hootenanny. As well as the 2010 Barrymore nominated educational program: Of Mythic Proportions, a storytelling performance program for high school students from Mariana Bracetti Academy in Kensington.
"Some theatres find new work too risky to include in their season," said Managing Artistic Director Michelle Pauls. "We know our audiences enjoy seeing something live, with other people. Why not see something new and different?"
