Judy Barnett's Jazz-a-Teria Returns to New Hope 8/20

Judy Barnett and her band "Jazz-A-Teria" return to New Hope, by popular demand for her second summer engagement at Bob Egan's in New Hope, Saturday August 20. They will perform two sets; at 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm. Tickets are $20.00 which includes both sets.
Judy Barnett's ubiquitous presence on New York City's jazz scene over the last twenty-five years has made her one of the most popular and respected singers currently working. Ms. Barnett is the recipient of seven MAC Jazz Vocalist Awards, a Back Stage Bistro Award and twelve ASCAP Special Awards for her songwriting. Over the last ten years, Judy has made Time Out New York's Critic's Picks List virtually every time she has performed, in every venue she has appeared.Ms. Barnett has recorded four CD's; the eponymous Judy Barnett, Swingin', a CD of her own songs called The Road To My Heart and a big band CD of Spring and Summer songs, Too Darn Hot! She is currently at work on a new jazz CD as well as a CD of more original songs, these written with pianist and composer Ted Kooshian.
