Hershey Area Playhouse Holds 'I LOVE YOU' Auditions 11/15 & 11/16
Hershey Area Playhouse is kicking off its 11th season with the Off-Broadway hit, I Love You,You're Perfect, Now Change! Auditions for this show will be held on Sunday,November 15, 2009 at 2:00 pm and Monday, November 16 at 7:00 pm at thetheatre on the campus of Country Meadows in Hershey.
Everything you've secretly wondered or thought about: lovers, marriage,romance, dating, husbands, wives and in-laws set to music! Hershey AreaPlayhouse brings this contemporary musical comedy to a whirlwind tour of thetrials and triumphs of love, accompanied by a hilarious score. This wonderfu lcollection of songs and comedy will help you better understand why men andwomen have always needed each other for mysterious reasons beyond sexualattraction.
The battle of the sexes can be a lot of fun!The director, Jennifer Feldser, and musical directors Nicholas Curry andDaniel Fisher are looking to cast 4 to 6 individuals who can be paired up inmultiple combinations to play characters from children to elder adults in variousstages of relationships. They would like auditioners to come prepared with asong, accompaniment included.
Auditioners will be asked to sing something and/or read a scene from the show. If possible, please bring a headshot orphotograph that the production team could keep with your information.Audition forms can be downloaded from HersheyAreaPlayhouse.com.
Auditions will be held at Hershey Area Playhouse at Country Meadows, locatedon Sand Hill Road at Cherry Drive in Hershey. The show will open on Thursday,February 11, 2010 and run through Sunday, February 21, 2010.
