Gretna Theatre performs the best-selling book and film CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN on stage.

The founded-on-fact comedy with genuine and delightful humor, a story of meaning and importance. The best-selling true-to-life book turned into an outstanding film in 1950 with Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy, and then into a classic American stage play.

It is the 1920s at the Gilbreth household where Father's insistence on efficiency rules this loving family - of 12 children!

The show features New York's own, Peter Levine, who previously starred at Gretna Theatre in The Sunshine Boys (2007) and Mary Lou Barber who previously starred in Gretna Theatre's Made in America: Irving Berlin and Fiddler on the Roof (2007). Gretna Theatre will present ‘Cheaper by the Dozen' Thursday, July 9th through Sunday, July 12th.
