David Caserta Returns to the State Theatre with HAUNTED ILLUSIONS 10/21
Fresh off a television appearance on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Illusionist David Caserta returns to the State Theatre with Haunted Illusions!
David Caserta had many goals when he was learning magic at the age of 6. He was able to cRoss One of them off his list in July when he performed on the hit TV show, "Penn & Teller: Fool Us!" After working relentlessly on something original for his annual show, Haunted Illusions, David Caserta is excited to be the only magician in the country to perform his illusion live on stage -cutting HIMSELF in half!
Haunted Illusions will be on Saturday, October 21 and is set for 7:00 PM. Tickets are $20 & $10 for children 12 and under and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. The show will feature a special appearance by WFMZ's Alexandra Hogan.
Haunted Illusions is perfect for the entire family and features several original illusions. There are plenty of audience participation moments in the show including one where someone from the audience will vanish into thin air. It is the perfect show for all ages and features computerized lighting, special effects, and possibly even a ghost in the theater!
After auditioning with several thousand other magicians, David Caserta was chosen to perform one of his signature new illusions: "Cutting" on the CW Network's Penn & Teller: Fool Us. It took 2 years of development to come up with an illusion that would test the knowledge of Vegas headliners, Penn and Teller. In March, David flew out to Las Vegas and spent the week rehearsing, filming interviews, and performing in the main showroom at the RIO Hotel. The show aired for the first time on July 20th.
David promises to perform this illusion as well as some other new treats for his return engagement at the theater. Haunted Illusions is the perfect Halloween themed show for all ages.
$10 tickets are designated for children 12 & under. Regardless of age, everyone in attendance must have a ticket. Bringing infants to any performance is prohibited.
