Civic Theatre of Allentown will premiere the Academy Award nominated film "Biutiful" Friday, February 11. The film will be screening in Civic's 19th St theatre and Civic's Theatre514. "Biutiful" has been nominated for Best Actor (Javier Bardem) and Best Foreign Language Film for the 2011 Academy Awards.
Javier Bardem won the Best Actor Prize at Cannes 2010 for his performance in "Biutiful." Synopsis: Uxbal (Javier Bardem) is a conflicted man who struggles to reconcile fatherhood, guilt and mortality amidst the Barcelona underworld.
