Berks Ballet Theatre Presents Virtual Spring Performance BREATHING SPACE

Breathing Space will take you on a journey of contemporary and neoclassical works displaying the versatility and strength of the Berks Ballet Theatre dancers.

The Company is reviving the late choreographer Jonathan Phelps's piece, Blue Songs, set to four songs by Aretha Franklin. The power and emotion in the piece will surely move our audience.

Filling in the middle of the program are two pieces entitled Timelapse and Walk, choreographed by Company members Emily Brossman and Gretchen Kimmel, respectively. The Jr. Company dancers were challenged in these pieces, dancing along with the soloists.

Rounding out the program is Resident Choreographer Nathan Bland's new piece, Bolero, to the famous Ravel work. It showcases the dancers' strong ballet training in a more contemporary way.

How it works:

A virtual experience: this year, when you purchase a ticket to their Spring show, Breathing Space, you'll be provided with a unique URL and password to view the show online!
