Arden Theatre's Drama School To Host Free Open House For Families And Children On 9/19

Arden Theatre Company welcomes children and families to Arden Drama School's Free Open House on Saturday, September 19, 2009, from 12pm-2:30pm. This event provides an opportunity to meet Arden Drama School faculty and take mini-classes in Acting, Improvisation, Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, and Storytelling. Backstage tours and light refreshments will also be provided.

Featured Arden Drama School faculty at the Open House includes the following professional theatre artists: Bobby Bangert, Shakespeare; Liz Filios, Musical Theatre and Acting; Michael McElroy, Acting; Hillary Rea, Acting and Storytelling; Alexis Simpson, Improvisation.

Arden Drama School offers theatre classes and camps for kids in Kindergarten through 12 grade. Classes for kids in Kindergarten through 5 grade comprise Kids' Crew and kids in 6 through 12 grade attend Teen Company. Classes are offered every semester (fall, winter and spring) and during the summer, Drama School offers daycamps. The Arden is currently offering significant discounts for kids who sign up for all three semesters (fall, winter and spring) at once.
