AN EVENING WITH GROUCHO Special Preview Monday, 2/12
Join Mark Frank, owner of The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm, and Frank Ferrante, preeminent Groucho Marx performer, as they give you a tour of this historic former home of Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright, George S. Kaufman.
The duo will provide insight into the farm's significance and highlight Groucho's role in Bucks County's rich cultural history.
Frank Ferrante stars at Bucks County Playhouse from Feb. 14 through Feb. 25, 2018
George S. Kaufman wrote the Marx Brothers Broadway Musicals that went on to be films - The Cocoanuts and Animal Crackers as well as their film classic A Night at the Opera.
Groucho referred to Kaufman as the person who "gave me the walk and the talk." Groucho had tremendous respect for the playwright and sometimes referred to him as his God according to Dick Cavett.
