A CHRISTMAS CAROL, THE MUSICAL Comes to the State Theatre, 12/12

The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future all agree on one piece of advice. The must see holiday show of the season is the family-friendly A Christmas Carol, the Musical at the State Theatre in Easton on Thursday December 12th.

Show time is 7:30 PM. The Nebraska Theatre Caravan presents a fully staged musical version of Charles Dickens' holiday favorite. This classic Dickens' tale has become a Yuletide Tradition, with a full array of traditional Christmas carols such as "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," "Away In a Manger" and "Here We Come A-Wassailing" interwoven within the classic story of a tight-fisted, middleclass merchant Ebenezer Scrooge and all the beloved characters from Dickens' 1843 novel.

This celebrated adaptation by Charles Jones of Dickens' A Christmas Carol is rich with thrilling ensemble music, alive with color and movement and is created to tell this great and enduring tale in a manner that people of all ages will enjoy. Featuring a cast of 24 performers, live musicians, and Broadway-style scenery and costumes, audiences will cherish this annual holiday classic. With a set evoking Currier and Ives prints and featuring special effects such as a spinning bed, this is a glorious holiday evening the whole family can enjoy!
