This June, 11th Hour Theatre Company is moving Armadillo Acres, Florida's most exclusive trailer park, to the Arcadia Stage at the Arden Theatre and giving city audiences and audiences around the area a second chance to see their raucous and hilarious co-production with Montgomery Theater of The Great American Trailer Park Musical. The Arden is located at 40 N. 2nd St. in Center City. The show begins Friday, June 3, opens Monday June 6, and will close on June 19. Tickets are $15 - $30 and are available online at www.11thhourtheatrecompany.org and at (267) 987-9865.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical, written by David Nehls (music and lyrics) and Becky Kelso (book), is a hilarious new musical about agoraphobia, adultery, 80's nostalgia, spray cheese, road kill, hysterical pregnancy, a broken electric chair, kleptomania, strippers and disco. It centers around regular guy Norbert and his agoraphobic wife, Jeannie, whose marriage is threatened by Armadillo Acres' newcomer, the hot young stripper Pippi. The trailer park also plays home to a Greek-chorus-like trio of women Betty, Linoleum (Lin), and Pickles, each dysfunctional in her own right.

The cast includes two 11th Hour regulars and a group of actors performing with 11th Hour for the first time. Paul McElwee (who appeared as Mr. Mushnik in 11th Hour's Little Shop of Horrors) plays Norbert and Nancie Sanderson plays Jeannie. Carly Pearlstein plays Pippi and Michael Doherty is playing Duke. The Greek-chorus-like trio of women includes Leah Walton as Betty, Marissa K. Hines (who appeared in 11th Hour's productions of RENT and Little Shop of Horrors) as Linoleum, and Rachel Camp as Pickles.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical ran Off-Broadway in 2005. The Village Voice said it was, "A show that actually lives up to the hype of its title." The NY Sun called it, "South Park meets Desperate Housewives." This hilarious production is directed by Resident Director Megan Nicole O'Brien. The production team is a crew of 11th Hour regulars. Dan Kazemi is handling the Music Direction and Jenn Rose choreographed the show. Maura Roche serves as both Production Manager and Set Designer. Shelly Hicklin is designing the lights and Mark Valenzuela is designing sound. Lauren Perigard designed the costumes.

"I love the zany sense of humor of this show," said the director Megan O'Brien. "I saw it when it was Off-Broadway, and I thought it was so funny. It didn't take itself too seriously. Since then, it was always on my list for 11th Hour."
