Laughing Stock Productions to Present Heath Franklin's MAY I BORROW A CRISIS?, Feb 14-March 16

By: Feb. 03, 2014

Laughing Stock Productions presents HEATH FRANKLIN in MAY I BORROW A CRISIS? at The Garden Of Unearthly Delights - The Spare Room, running 14 Feb to 16 Mar (Excl. 17 & 24 Feb, 3 Mar) at 9.30pm, Fri and Sat $30, Wed, Thu, Sun $28, Conc, Group & Tues $25.

They say Comedy equals Tragedy PLUS Time. Sadly, as a comedian Heath Franklin has made a lot of good life choices. So to write the perfect comedy show, he needs to borrow your crisis. Bankrupt? Great. Arrested? Awesome. Internet's not working? Perfect! You probably weren't doing anything with them anyway.

Famous for being 'Chopper', Logie and ARIA nominated Heath Franklin steps out from behind the shadow of the moustache for the first time, but when you've been doing comedy through sunglasses, fakes tatts and a silly voice for 8 years, how do you comedy as yourself?

With all his comedy friends winning awards for shows based on poor decisions, Heath is left wondering, where did it all go right? So Heath is hitting the road and looking for tragedy donation - Lost your house? He can work with that. Boyfriend left you for another man? Comedy gold!

Having sold over 250,000 tickets around the world as Chopper, the ARIA and Logie-nominated Franklin brings his first ever solo stand-up show to Adelaide this Fringe. As seen on The Ronnie Johns Half Hour (Network 10), Thank God You're Here (Channel 7), and in the recent ABC TV series Wednesday Night Fever.
