Alex Williamson Adds Extra Adelaide Fringe and Sydney Comedy Festival Shows and Announces Australian Tour Image

Frontier Comedy announce that comedian, actor, online content creator and "one of the world's most promising comedic talents" (Under The Gun, US) Alex Williamson will take his latest stand-up show So Wrong, It's Wrong across the country for an 11-date national tour after performing at Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, New Zealand Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and Perth Comedy Festival.

Extra shows have also been added at Adelaide Fringe (Sat 24 Mar, 7pm) and Sydney Comedy Festival (Thu 3 May, 7:30pm) by demand. Be prepared for Alex's twisted outlook to shake your faith in humanity, before restoring it ever so slightly, then smashing it once again beyond repair in this one-hour honesty session. After hitting the festival circuit, the entertainingly controversial Alex will perform in Gladstone, Brisbane, Albury, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Bendigo, Shepparton, Byron Bay and Toowoomba. Tickets to all shows on sale now.

Global comedy sensation Alex Williamson (The Slot, Me and My Mates Vs The Zombie Apocalypse) has 2.5 million followers and hundreds of millions of views across his social media platforms. He began performing stand up in 2007, going on to be a state finalist in triple j's 2009 RAW Comedy competition. After a stint in radio, Alex relocated to Los Angeles where he performed duties for The Hot Hits Live From LA, gathering content from various A-List celebrities at red carpet events.

In 2012, Alex brought his various online characters, songs and stand-up comedy to life in a hilarious live stage solo show, Alex Williamson and Friends. This show and his subsequent live shows have sold out countless times at all the major comedy festivals since 2012, and internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe from 2013. In 2015, Alex starred alongside Aussie comedy greats Jim Jefferies and Greg Fleet in zom-com Me and My Mates vs The Zombie Apocalypse.

Last year alone Alex sold out festival seasons across Australia and the UK, as well as two tours across New Zealand and Australia. Don't miss your chance to catch his latest live offering So Wrong, It's Wrong at a festival near you, or across greater Australia this March-June.
