Be prepared to laugh out loud as Adelaide Repertory Theatre present a comedy mashup where Lord of the Flies meets The Office.

Neville's Island is a tale of bungling incompetence as four middle-aged, middle managers find themselves lost while on a corporate team bonding exercise, menaced by wildlife and cut off from modern civilization.

What should have been a bonding process for Gordon, Angus, Roy and Neville turns into a muddy fight for survival. Bound by fog, the perfunctory middle-class activity turns into a carnival of recriminations, French cricket and sausages.

From Thursday June 20 until Saturday June 29, The Arts Theatre will host the hilarious story of four out-of-condition, middle-aged, middle-managers who succeed in being the first people ever to get shipwrecked on an island in the UK's Lakes District.

Featuring four of Adelaide's best local actors, Neville's Island stars Paul Davies, Nigel Tripodi, Thorin Cupit and Peter Smith, all well known in Adelaide theatre circles.

According to the show's Director, Michael Eustice, it is a story which audiences will not only enjoy but will largely be able to relate to as well.

"Having spent much of the last 17 years working in large corporates, I have been subjected to all-manner of excruciating team building activities," states Michael.

"I don't think I'm alone in this and believe that audiences will strongly relate to the absurd turn of events that befall the hapless misadventures."

An experienced Director, Michael has a Master of Arts in Theatre Studies from the University of London and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Educational Theatre) from the University of Adelaide Drama Department.

Michael has directed and performed in many productions. In 2011 he directed The Theatre Guild's sell-out production of Macbeth.

Ticket prices are $22 for adults, $17 concession and $15 for groups of 10 or more. Tickets can be purchased online at www.trybooking/46611 or by phone on 8212 5777.
