On August 4th acclaimed composer and lyricist Scott Alan returedn for his biggest concert yet ay the IndigO2 Theatre Arena at the O2. The concert, produced by Amzi Entertainment, featured a 15 piece orchestra and song selections from Alan's four albums, 'Dreaming Wide Awake,' 'Keys,' 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' and 'LIVE.' In August, WICKED's Willemijn Verkaik starred in Scott Alan's concert performance of his new musical HOME at IndigO2 at the 02. The concert was the first time entire score from HOME THE MUSICAL had been revealed. Below, check out Verkaik perform the Overture and the opening song from the show!

As BroawayWorld previously reported, beginning performances on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, Willemijn Verkaik will make her Broadway debut as Elphaba in the blockbuster musical WICKED. An award-winning actress who has performed the role for more than 1,000 performances in Germany and Holland, Ms. Verkaik will perform the role for a special 15-week engagement. She is currently headlining the Dutch production of WICKED and will play her final performance there on January 11, 2013.

Eden Espinosa, Jane Monheit, Christiane Noll and Scott Alan were supposed to perform Alan's song 'Always' at the 'Broadway Blows Back' concert, raising funds for victims of Hurricane Sandy. The producers decided to move the performance back to December 10th, which Alan was unable to attend, so the group has recorded the song to promote the upcoming concert.
