Released in limited theaters on December 5, 2002, THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS is the second installment in Peter Jackson's fantasy adventure film trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. Set in Middle-earth, the story picks up with Frodo (Elijah Wood) and Sam (Sean Astin) trekking to Mordor to destroy the One Ring of Power while Gimli (John Rhys-Davies), Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen) search for the orc-captured Merry (Dominic Monaghan) and Pippin (Billy Boyd). All along, nefarious wizard Saruman (Christopher Lee) awaits the Fellowship members at the Orthanc Tower in Isengard.

On December 4, 1998, Gus van Sant's shot-for-shot remake of Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 classic horror film PSYCHO was released in theaters. The film has gone down in history as one of the most 'pointless' remakes, according to the great film critic Roger Ebert.

Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) entry Everybody Has a Plan, starring Viggo Mortensen, is directed and co-written by Ana Piterbarg and makes its North American premiere tomorrow, September 8, 2012. 'On The Road' is based on the novel of the same title by Jack Kerouac and is directed by Walter Salles. It is about two friends, Dean played by Garrett Hedlundy and Sal played by Sam Riley that are a part of the Beat Generation. Kristen Stewart co-stars as he teenage bride Marylou. They travel across the country in the 1940s. The film also stars Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, and Amy Adams.
